Reading and navigation

Pages use headings, landmarks and descriptive links. A skip link moves past the header, keyboard focus stays visible, and text reflows on narrow screens and when enlarged. Core content and display settings are available without JavaScript.

The operating example includes a complete text explanation alongside its interactive controls. Meaning does not depend only on colour or movement.

Display settings

Open Display in the header to choose System, Light or Dark appearance; System, Standard or More contrast; System or Reduced motion; and System, Large (125%) or Extra large (150%) font size. System follows your device settings. A device preference for reduced motion always takes priority.

Your choices are saved when you select Apply preferences. Select System and apply it to clear a saved choice. You can also use your browser’s zoom and text settings.

Checks and limitations

Development checks cover keyboard use, narrow-screen layouts, contrast, reduced motion and automated accessibility rules. These checks do not establish that every page works with every browser or assistive technology. A comprehensive screen-reader and disabled-user evaluation has not yet been completed.
